This natural Tanzanian spinel features a deep purple-pink color with purple reflections. Its oval cut with sharp facets gives it a bright brilliance, with plays of light that bring out magenta-pink flashes in the center of the stone.
Spinel is prized by jewelers for its great brilliance, its hardness of 8 on the Mohs scale, and its rarity in purple shades. It is an elegant alternative to sapphires and tourmalines, suitable for both a ring and a pendant.
