Ce spinelle naturel de Tanzanie présente un violet rosé, avec des nuances mauve et framboise qui varient selon la lumière. Sa taille coussin aux angles arrondis offre une brillance vive et des reflets plus profonds au centre de la pierre.
Le spinelle est apprécié des joailliers pour sa brillance, sa dureté de 8 sur l’échelle de Mohs et la richesse de ses couleurs. Avec ses 6,58 × 5,12 mm, cette pierre convient très bien à une bague de créateur ou à un pendentif.
